We have a large and growing community of support around us – we couldn’t function without it!
We are grateful to all our wonderful volunteers, both ex-offenders and non-offenders. Some of these keep us going on a day-to-day basis, turning up regularly to assist with production, and some turn out when the pressure is on for special events that help to bring in the much-needed extra cash. Some help behind the scenes with accounting and admin, some respond to emergency requests for help with a delivery, some organise a fund-raising event for us, and some just pop up to tell us of an opportunity for awareness-raising that we might otherwise have missed. Whatever you contribute as a volunteer, please know that you are a huge source of delight, inspiration and encouragement to us and definitely help us to keep going!
We are grateful to our funders, including the Harpur Trust, the Big Lottery Fund, UnLtd, the School for Social Entrepreneurs, Lloyds Foundation, the Gale Family Trust and Kempston Lions.
We are grateful for practical support received from the Cranfield Trust, the CVS and various consultants and trainers who may well prefer not to be named.
We are grateful for the very strong network of voluntary agencies that exists in Bedford and with whom we work closely.
And we are definitely grateful to our many customers, businesses and individuals – please keep on buying and recommending the bread – because, as you know, it’s Good for You, and Good for Your Community!
